Musculoskeletal Health Testimonials

I was in a position where my hamstring was just not getting better because of football and I did not know what to do. Ms Roberts showed me why it wasn't getting better and gave me several tips and stretches to do that have helped get back on the field. Now I have full confidence in my hamstring because of her.

"When I contacted Stacey at New You Health and Wellness, I couldn't put more than a few pounds of weight on my left foot (overnight woke up like this!). After the first treatment I walked out without pain! After 3 treatments I am back on the treadmill and couldn't be happier! Just ran 2.5 miles NO PAIN! As a result of her holistic treatment program and evaluation, she has helped get rid of my 10+ year chronic hip pain. I didn't know if I would be able to get back to my fitness goals but as a result of Softwave therapy, her manual therapy and other wellness recommendations I am now back to running with no pain in my feet and my hip feels great. Beyond appreciative of her expertise and guidance!" Nisha

Pelvic Health Testimonials

I came to see Stacey at New For You in February for an embarrassing problem with random bladder leakage.  Stacey handled this potentially embarrassing issue with compassion and made me feel at ease explaining my issue.  Prior to seeing Stacey, I had gotten bladder mesh surgery in September of 2019 with the hope to rectify the problem.  Unfortunately, this surgery was not successful and after 2 office visits to my doctor, it seemed additional surgery was the only option.  Instead of having further surgery, I was fortunate to see Stacey!   Within 5 sessions this embarrassing random leakage issue has been significantly reduced, so much so, that I know what I need to do to control it and I am no longer contemplating surgery.  I am so fortunate to find Stacey and New For You and I wouldn’t hesitate to see her again if I experience problems in the future.

KK: Thank you for the thorough note. I believe the Shockwave therapy had a positive effect, unless we are going to assume it was all from a “placebo”-type impact. For the first time the Tri-mix injection of 7 mL felt as if it was too much of a dose, and I’m going to reduce it down to 4 mL. That’s actually a big step forward. I think there might be some improvement in prostate function too, in terms of urination. Whether this is a tissue effect or a “placebo” effect doesn’t matter tome, because it’s working, as far as I’m concerned.

Before I even made it to my house I had a spontaneous erection on the car ride home. I don’t think this is coincidence.  These waves work wonders on me it seems. I am planning on getting a few more treatments over the next few weeks and will reassess from there whether to do a full 6 treatments or not. Currently I have scheduled Wednesday this week, but I may have to reschedule to a different date. I will contact your office about that tomorrow.I take 5 mg of Cialis a day. I will be starting the Addy tonight.  I am extremely happy you got this machine and look forward to the next treatment. See you soon Sincerely,  B M S

Thanks for checking in.  My experience so far has been good with the shockwave treatment, but it’s tough to say how significant or lasting the results are at this point.   Assessing the 2 treatments I’ve had, the biggest difference I’ve noticed is that for roughly 48 hours after the treatment I seem to experience more sensitivity and I can get erections with more ease.  I would add that I experienced virtually no pain during the administration of the shockwave therapy, but definitely noticed a significant difference in the feeling on the left side of my penis vs the right. I could feel much less on the right side where there appears to be symptoms of nerve damage (from my prior condition, not the therapy).  Thanks!  B

Female Sexual Health Testimonials

Hi Overall, my PGAD symptoms seem a little bit less, though still quite bothersome and distressing. I noticed that in the past week (first shockwave treatment was 1 wk ago), I haven’t had to leave school in the middle of class or skip class due to my symptoms being too severe. That doesn’t always happen every week, but it happens often enough for me to notice after a week of no major disruptions.  . Good morning, My symptoms are better than they were before starting shockwave therapy. I was even able to enjoy going for a little run. Usually, if I attempt any kind of physical activity like that, my arousal immediately goes way up, and the increased pain and/or orgasms force me to stop. Then, I end up feeling terrible and regretting I even tried.  Best Wishes

I just got home and I really think it’s helping somewhat. I definitely do NOT feel worse; that’s for sure. I went ahead and did my own q tip test and the upper vestibule REALLY feels improved and urethra is IMPROVED! I’m still having pain but based upon the touch test I just did; this is the first time I have felt any sort of RELIEF! I cannot wait to continue therapy; I’m very hopeful.

Hi So things definitely feel different. The sharp pain I feel when having to pee really bad and then stopping peeing – is a little duller. On the drive home, the pain felt less active and less uncomfortable. The majority of pain is inside along the urethral wall with sex from behind. Although it’s hard to pinpoint what’s changed, I know it’s getting better so I’m very hopeful!  Can’t wait to try it again when we’re back from vacation! Thank you so much for your persistence and compassion.  See you soon!

Hi Yes I feel the treatment with the shockwave therapy is helping me, since we did it on the labia.  But I am keeping my fingers cross it continues to get better and the treatment will have a lasting effect.  See you next week     Thanks.

Hi  Well, hmm. I think there’s a slight decrease is resting pain, and I think lubrication has improved. I’m anxious to keep going.   Thanks️
